Coleophora flavipennella : ウィキペディア英語版 | Coleophora flavipennella
''Coleophora flavipennella'' is a moth of the Coleophoridae family. It is found in Europe. The wingspan is 11–13 mm. The moth flies from July to August depending on the location. The larvae feed on ''Castanea sativa'', ''Quercus pedunculiflora'', ''Quercus petraea'', ''Quercus robur'' and ''Quercus rubra''. Young larvae makes a tiny blotch mine and then create a leaf case from the mined leaf fragment. Later this first case is enlarged with silk. The small leaf fragment remains part of the case. The final case is light brown, trivalved, tubular silken case of about 7 mm with a mouth angle of about 45°.〔(bladmineerders.nl )〕 Full-grown larvae can be found in May. ==References==
